No news yet on if and when we can expect McDonald's delivery in the United Kingdom, but the brand has stated that other cities will be given McDelivery in the coming months. McDonald's is in a race with its primary competitors, Burger King and Wendy's, to expand delivery. McDonald's Corporation (NYSE:MCD) is expanding delivery as it seeks new ways to keep Millennials who will pay up for convenience.

Delivery charges using UberEats differs depending on the city, however, Uber usually charges a flat $4.99. The expansion means delivery is offered at 1,000 restaurants across the country, including 300 in the L.A. -area alone. In April, the food chain announced it would be launching the service nationally, but at the time did not state what specific cities would be involved. The strongest markets being Asia and the Middle east, where top delivery restaurants generate up to 40 percent of their sales from the service.

ABOUT UberEATS UberEATS is Uber's stand-alone meal delivery app that makes getting food as easy as requesting a ride, whether you're at home, the office, or the park.
