AMD also announced its entire Ryzen desktop line-up, including the Ryzen 3 processors that will be launching in Q3, have earned Oculus approval to be VR Ready and VR Ready Premium.

AMD President and CEO Dr. Lisa Su said, "We celebrate 30 years of AMD in Taiwan at Computex this year with great momentum around our new high-performance computing and graphics products". Among them there is the ASUS ROG Strix GL702ZC, the first gaming laptop on the market to pack an AMD Ryzen processor. The render required a mere 13.04 seconds, which is much faster than the 36 seconds AMD demonstrated with the Ryzen 7 1800X prior to its launch. It's clear that the industry and consumers were hungry for the innovation Ryzen has brought back to the PC market.

AMD showed off Radeon RX Vega running Prey on Ultra settings at 4K, with two Radeon RX Vega graphics cards in CrossFire. all powered on their new ThreadRipper 16C/32T processor.

AMD Ryzen has been out for more than 3 months now and now we are getting more information regarding the future of the product line. A working sample of a sub-15mm thin 2-in-1 with a Ryzen Mobile processor was shown on stage. The tech company stated that the first EPYC processor-based servers will launch on June 20 and will get enormous support from original equipment manufacturers and channel partners. The Radeon RX Vega, which is more geared toward gaming workloads, is expected to launch at SIGGRAPH 2017 in Los Angeles later this year. Most of what was known officially about Threadripper was confirmed, with the release of 16-core 32-thread CPUs being the headline chips, running on a new X399 chipset platform, using a new socket called TR4 rather than the AM4 for Ryzen. For our audience, the main focuses would be on the Threadripper 16C/32T CPU and Radeon RX Vega GPUs, both of which were highlighted at the event. The company was able to show off a couple high-performance systems from OEMs such as ASRock, Asus, Gigabyte, and MSI.

The Department of Justice declined to comply with a congressional request for information on Thursday. On Friday, CNN reported that Comey acted on this document, even though he knew it could be fake.

Last were the announcements of Ryzen CPUs and RX 500 GPUs being integrated into the mobile platform of laptops and notebooks.

Furthermore, AMD is not taking Nvidia's GPU lead lying down - the press event also saw a teaser of its new Radeon RX Vega, aimed at competing with Nvidia's top-end GeForce GTX 1080 cards.

AMD will launch the Frontier Edition intended for professional usage in the coming weeks.
