WEATHER: Thunderstorms likely on a cloudy Sunday

Wednesday will likely see more showers and thunderstorms with a high near 83 degrees, according to the National Weather Service. About three-quarters of an inch of rain has already fallen in the Skillman section of Montgomery as of 4:30 a.m.

On Wednesday, the high temperature will only reach 78 degrees, and on Thursday the high will top out at 74.

Monday Night: A chance of showers and thunderstorms. High temperatures should be in the lower 90s both days. Sunday night will be humid with a slightly decreased likelihood of precipitation, before chances of rain. Mostly sunny, with a high near 86. It will be mostly cloudy, with a low around 53. Partly cloudy skies should continue Tuesday with afternoon temperatures in the middle to upper 80s.
